Listening Circle for Mothers

When I was a new mum, and trying my best to navigate this whole new world of motherhood, I found that there were plenty of activities to entertain my baby but there was nothing to really meet my needs as a mum.

Yes, there were lots of joyful moments but there were so many moments where I felt really challenged – feeling of self doubt, loneliness and frustration could be overwhelming at times but I felt that there was no where I could go to feel heard and validated for what I was going through.

This is why I’ve set up a listening circle for mums, where the main purpose is for mums to be listened to and to be supported in whatever they’re going through. It’s a safe, non judgemental space for mums to share openly and honestly about their experiences and their emotions – so that we can collectively lift each other up during a period of our lives which can feel really vulnerable.

It will generally last around 2 hours and numbers will be limited so that we can maintain an environment of intimacy and real connection – which I feel is the foundation for us to thrive in this hectic society full of expectations of what a mother ‘should’ be.

It’s open to all mums – expecting mums, new born mums, mum to older children.  Being seen and being heard is one of our core needs, and we all need that whatever stage we may be with our children.

Location is in Epping and our next meet up will be on Thursday 12th August at 10am.  First session free, then it will be £8/session but if you feel that this is too much please pay what you can – I never want cost to be a barrier to you coming along.

If you’re interested the booking form is below.

I’m really looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the circle!
